Mission Fest BC is a rallying point for global missions—centered around experiencing Jesus’ manifest love for us, and the world.

Come Expectant.

Jesus’ love isn’t a vague, theoretical love—it’s active.

Jesus’ love caused Him to befriend real, ordinary people just like us; to see their deepest needs and heal them. In love He ransomed us with His blood, claiming us as His own and giving us a new calling.

Encounter Jesus.

When He makes Himself known, we’re profoundly changed.

Imagine the most gentle and loving person in your life—just by walking into a room they put a smile on your face and fill you with peace. Their presence shifts something inside of you before they even say a word.

This is how it was for John in Revelation 1. Just by seeing Jesus, John immediately experienced the whole culture and ethos of the One who sits on the throne. He felt Jesus’ presence as He drew near.

Having had a similar experience, Paul writes to the church in Corinth, “For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion, that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.” (2 Corinthians 5:13b–15)

When Jesus makes Himself known to us, it’s impossible to miss. John and Paul encountered the risen Jesus, were profoundly changed, and both yielded their whole lives to be missionaries.

Embrace Calling.

Experience Jesus’ love and receive His calling.

When you meet Jesus face to face and experience His love, what flows naturally is that you will receive His calling, “to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father.” (Revelation 1:6)

Go Renewed.

Be filled with His love and equipped to redeem the world.

As we draw near to God in worship, He promises to draw near to us (James 4:8.) As we learn again to abide in Him more will be accomplished than any human effort could (John 15:5.) He will fill us with His love and equip us for His mission to go and redeem the world. To Him be the glory!

“To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”—Revelation 1:5–6

“I found that so many people in so many ways were working to bring glory to God in their missions by being the hand and feet of Jesus. I found a couple of booths and their missions that I would like to be a part of.”
